Ca' Mirandola sorge poco distante dal nucleo abitato della frazione di Casoni , nel comune di Pieve Porto Morone equidistante tra le province di Castel San Giovanni, Piacenza, Pavia e Lodi. Una stradina privata conduce al cancello d'entrata in un ampio cortile comodo per parcheggiare. La casa era originariamente una cascina gestita da una famiglia pievese fino ai primi del Novecento. Negli anni '80 fu acquistata dai genitori, milanesi, di Eleonora come casa di vacanza e relax a un'ora dalla città.
La realizzazione di questo progetto è stata possibile grazie all'intervento di rivisitazione degli spazi di ARCHIGEO, che con professionalità, sensibilità ed entusiasmo, ha dotato la casa di funzionalità, luce e calore, qualità indispensabili ad una abitazione privata che si apre al pubblico.

La quiete che si respira a Ca' Mirandola offre una tregua alla quotidiana corsa contro il tempo di chi vive e lavora in città. Proprio per questo è nato il bed & breakfast un luogo rilassante e accogliente dove trovareuna sistemazione comoda e una buona colazione a chi si trova a far una breve tappa sul proprio cammino che sia in auto, in moto, in bici, in canoa o a piedi. Vuole essere un punto di partenza per esplorare un territorio, quello del Po poco conosciuto e così valorizzarlo all'insegna del turismo lento...
Ca' Mirandola B&B è entrato in attività all'inizio di maggio 2019 con aperture stagionali: generalmente da Marzo a Luglio e da Settembre a Novembre...

Ca' Mirandola is located on 3 acres of land, right by the river levee, just across the river Po, Castel San Giovanni in Emilia Romagna and the A21: equidistant From Piacenza, Pavia and Lodi. Originally the building was an active farm, in italian "cascina". In recent years became a private villa for leisure just an hour away from Milan.
Thanks to refurbished interiors featured by ARCHIGEO gifted designers Ca' Mirandola has gained its new guise of cosy B&B with its complete kit of hospitality: serviceability, brightness, warmth.
Ca' Mirandola surprises the visitor for its peacefulness. In Spring and Summer birds chirping drown out even the slow roaring of the tractors: the only mechanical bothering noise you could happen to hear out here. It doesn't matter if you're on the road by car, by scooter, by bike, by kayak or on foot make a stopover here and you'll find a homely breakfast and a cosy lodge far from hustle and bustle of the city...It's a good place to start exploration of a surprisingly territory though unrecognized in the name of slow tourism...
We came on line at the beginning of May 2019. Our seasonal opening will be carried out until the end of July and then it will restart from September to end November.
OSPITALITA' hospitality
A pianterreno una spaziosa sala comune con focolare e libri accoglie gli ospiti per la colazione, che meteo permettendo, può essere gustata in alternativa nel portico o in giardino. La colazione si serve dalle 8.00 alle 10. Una comoda scala in legno conduce alle stanze al primo piano.

On the ground floor a spacious common dining room with fireplace and books. If the weather is good you can taste it outside in the West porch or have a pic-nic on the grass. Breakfast is served from 8.00 a.m. to 10 a.m. The upstairs is easily accessible by a wooden staircase

Un ampio bagno al piano ad uso delle stanze del Riccio e del Pettirosso. Graziose targhe danno il nome a ogni camera, una mini-biblioteca, comode poltroncine e un'ottima illuminazione contribuiscono al relax degli ospiti.

cats... & breakfast
Non significa che i gatti faranno colazione o dormiranno con gli ospiti, ma può capitare che condividano per un "fugace" momento il portico e il giardino... Yeti il nume tutelare di Ca' Mirandola una leggiadra gattina bianca con macchie pesca. Tigro, un timido soriano coccolone si è presentato alla porta pochi giorni prima di Natale: da allora ha adottato la casa e i suoi occupanti. Belle, trovatella salvata dalla strada, e' arrivata poco prima del lockdown di marzo 2020...nonostante la sua piccola taglia è una tipetta tosta e ha sconvolto gli equilibri gatteschi. Well, hopefully you tolerate cats. Anyway they are not going to sleep or have breakfast with you, but it most likely happen a "fleeting" encounter in the courtyard or in the garden... Yeti, a graceful white-red kitty, is the mascotte of the house. Tigro, a cuddly but shy tomcat, showed up the door during winter holidays. Since then he adopted us. Belle is the new kitty in town: foundling saved from the road. she came in february just before the 2020lockdown...a tough tiny gal who has disrupted pre-existing feline harmony. libri books
I libri si trovano un po' dappertutto in casa: nella sala comune, al primo piano su di una piccola libreria antistante le camere, nel bagno comune. Per la maggior parte sono in italiano, tuttavia ne potete scovare qualcuno in inglese, in francese, in tedesco e in spagnolo. Books are all over the place: in the common dining area, on the first floor on a bookshelf in front of the rooms, in the shared bathroom on a niche. Most of them are in italian, although you can track down some english, french, german and spanish copies.
